Ok so I am new to these forums, but so far, everyone has been really friendly and it is great.

Now I am a Californian, and Disneyland is the home park for me.  Having a season pass for many years, I have been there several and several times throughout every year.  My thing is that I have to at least ride a certain ride once before I leave.  As by my name, my favorite roller coaster of all time, still to this day, is California Screamin at DCA.

Back in October 2007, just before the major fire that year started, I had taken my 100th ride on that roller coaster.  It was an amazing moment as a few of the Cast Members were very supportive. What I had done is that I simply just took a piece of paper and wrote the #100 on the paper and held it up in front of the camera during the last part of the ride. Now although the number did not come out, i snapped a picture of my on-ride photo, ran it through photoshop and put a #100 on it.  I hope I still have that picture because I will post that if I still do.

Now I just wanted to start a fun topic with all of you, and maybe, Doug, can be an interesting topic to talk about on a future show.  Is there any one ride that you have been one more that anything in your lifetime? Like large number of times, such as 100 or more?

Thanks everyone for being so friendly on these forums. I hope to get some good feedback  Very Happy

I think mine would be Dollywood's Thunderhead... definitely no where near 100 rides though lol. I might have done that one 20 times?

First off, let me say congrats on hitting the century mark on California Screamin.  I feel better about your name now.

You have a great question.  I have been trying to think of what rides I have ridden the most.  I don't really keep count, but I imagine I have been on Kumba at Busch Gardens over 50 times.  I think I have also been on Gemini at Cedar Point about 50 times.

The thing that sticks out the most for me though, would be Illuminations.  I have probably seen that about 40-45 times.  Considering you can only do that once a day, it is the attraction I will go most out of my way to do.

I hope to get to DCA one of these days to ride California Screanin and try out you favorite ride.

Well Wylder, I actually had the chance to go out to Florida and do Universal and Busch while I was there (no Disney that time around)

But let me say that my 2nd best ride, one that really surprised me, was Montu at Busch. I have to say that I feel like crap that Knott's Berry Farm couldn't have built Silver Bullet more like this. God this Inverted Coaster was just incredible. It was merely a spectacle to see it first thing when you get there and it was just AWESOME!!! I love the shear size of it, the bat wing, and the underground trenched really caught me off guard.  Especially that last corkscrew where you start underground, flip over, and then miss the other wall underground by a few feet!

Montu is a very close second, but that ride is just incredible!

Honestly, I've never been one to count my rides, but I'd say I've ridden Montezooma's Revenge at least 30 times. Maybe more even Very Happy

Montu is a great ride, but Kumba was there a couple of years earlier, back when I was going to the University of South Florida (which is very close).  So I got a lot of rides on it back then.
You definitely have to hit Disney next time.  Busch and Universal are great parks, but Disney (most notably Epcot) is just something you have to do.

I know this, i and many people here have done exactly the same on Goliath (walibi world) The years when it has opent. Now you don't see that any more over here. I guess most people do it with the new roller coasters.

Some years a go a friend of my where curious of how many rides you could do in 1 day on a certan coaster in the efteling (vogelrok). Then we did something similar, only we have done 125 rides in 1 day (with a 2 hour break in total).

I don't keep track of how many times I have ridden a specific roller coaster, but I know I've ridden Medusa at SFDK over 100 times. We get season passes every year and when I was home schooled we would go in the middle of the week and we would ride Medusa over and over again.
