Did anyone catch the E3 conference recently. Now this is where new video games coming out in the future are revealed. Now being a Playstation 3 and Wii owner I saw some amazing stuff come out, but Xbox 360 had a impressive demo.  Now I don't own a Xbox 360, but after this demo I might consider one.
The first is Natal a fancy camera for the Xbox 360 that can mimic your motion action one to one, recognize your face and voice, and control menus with a wave of your hand. You can even scan your stuff in and it can display it on your tv and control it like a video game. One funny thing here is I saw this in the 80's at Epcot. Check out this video demo of Natal for the Xbox 360

Now here something coming right out of Disney Turtle Crush attraction where you talk to Crush the sea turtle from Finding Nemo. Like Crush this demo is called Milo where you talk too and interact with a little boy named Milo. Now what is amazing is he can talk back and react to your responds and see things you draw interact with it. The kicker is nobody controlling it. Just you with this camera and a software making up Milo the boy. Here a video demo of it.

Now Sony Playstion 3 came with some new stuff too. A motion control device that some say looks like a space ice cream. What's cool is it makes the control in your hand into whatever your want. If you want a sword, gun, tennis rack, golf club it can imposed that onto the video game and show your self holding it. This motion control has one to one motion too, but what important is the tackle feel you get from this. Your holding something real without making mimic motion. I can't wait to see how Sony is going to put this in games.  Here a demo of this motion control.

Now I a Call of Duty fan, but when Modern Warfare came out and got us away from the WWII era and into modern times. I love this game more then any other shooter with some exception like Half Life, Metal of Honor, and Killzone 2. But this time it's action on a grand movie scale in this sequel. Look at this demo video

They seem to have a bit of Aliens gun tech here. Motion Senor

Now I big fan of Guitar Hero and Rock Band when they come out. But music games are getting too much with the stuff they keep shelling out. But now they trying DJ as a new part of the music game genre. This looks good and does anybody feel like being a DJ for the party. Here a link to the Demo

Link

Assassins Creed 2 looks to be a great follow up to the first game. I like the first game, but it wasn't with out some problems. They look to have fix this in this new sequel. Link to demo video

Now Sony has some pretty good line up of PS3 only games like God of war III and a Dragon Liar type of game called Heavy Rain. Here some demo video

Link

Link

Now here something I never see a video game based on a old poem of Dante's Divine Comedy. It's Dante's Inferno it a very God of War type. Link video demo

EA may have the most impressive titles in RPG type of games Mass Effect 2, Dragon's Origins and the new MMO Star War: Old Republic by far has the most bang for you buck.  Keep a look out for these games in the news because there going to be some sex involved expect Star Wars

FYI the founder's of Bioware are Doctors first before they became video game developers. Reminds me of how people in the theme park world came from different backgrounds.

Being a fan of Metal Gear stealth action games are alway's been a favorite of mind. That why I can't wait to see Splinter Cell:Conviction come out to the PS3 someday, right now it's a Xbox thing only, but for a time. Video of the demo link

Nintendo played it safe. Showing off core games and wii fit plus. But I felt they are to low tech now. They are wining the console wars by far, but for core players they seem to be on a simple and family game type rather then pushing the tech farther. At least old favorite like Super Mairo Bros Wii, Dead Space Wii, Metriod, Mario Galaxy 2, Wii Resort, Silent Hill(remake) and Wii Fit Plus should be fun to look forward too.

By far there were some surprise that if there were on link's at the show. Metal Gear Rising, Sony new PSP Go which they price at $249 is still showing they over price there stuff a lot, a new redo of Castlevania series, new Metal Gear on PSP, Alan Wake, 2 new Halo games, Uncharted 2(great fun game from PS3), The Last Guardian(from Team ICO),Brutral Legend,Tony Hawk Ride and a crazy babe action game from Japan called Bayoneta.

amazing report man
i caught the whole thing on g4
i own a 360 and a wii
project natal definitely looks awesome but if its gonna be like over 150 dollars im not sure im gonna buy it
can't wait for modern warfare 2 loved cod4 to death
dj hero im not excited at all for
with all the mixed reviews for the first game i loved assassins creed 1 so im very looking forward to 2
mass effect 1 sucked up about a month of my life and ive actually gone back and im replaying it right now to get myself ready for the second one
the old republic is another game i want to pick up but if i dont have the money it wont be a big deal to me if i miss this one
personally ive never been a big fan of the splinter cell series so im probably not gonna pick that up
dont think ill be picking up much for wii this year just because theres too many games coming out for 360 that i wont have enough money for lol
i wasnt aware that bungie was going to make another halo game after odst. i thought when then went through that whole contract thing with microsoft that they said they would only make one more halo (odst) so i will probably pick up reach because bungie is a very skilled company at making games
i am going to buy brutal legend the day it comes out. i love music (heavy metal  Twisted Evil ) and i love video games.
thats what i thought of e3
also left 4 dead 2 looks great. i think its comin out a little fast for a sequel but ill still definitely get it.
also i thought it was pretty cool how your going to be able to access your facebook and twitter acounts through your 360. i dont have a facebook or a twitter but i might try it out once it comes to 360.
also the rock band beatles edition is a must have on my list

Wow, that is just sick, plain sick!

My dad was telling me all about it when I was picking up our kids tonight and I had no idea what he was talking about.  I just watched the first video, not all of them, but I'll try to get to the others later......probably when I don't want to be working!

Thanks for posting that because I was going to get around to watching the E3 stuff, oh, NEVER.....I have NO time anymore!!! ack parenting, wife-ing AND being a student is hard work........sigh.

Anyhow, suck that Wii!! LOL  That's just crazy, crazy, crazy!  I love it, can't wait for that bad boy to come out......hopefully we won't have to mortgage a house to get it!! LOL  Did they give any sort of price point for it?  (I didn't read the entire post, just in case it was embedded in the message somewhere Embarassed )

Microsoft didn't release a price or date but I guess it will be next year. I wouldn't be surprise if they release it this holiday season they way that demo look.  This seems to be the future of where things are going and really cool too Very Happy

I forgot about the Beatles Rock Bank. There's a lot of music game coming this fall, but the Beatles is one that just too goo to pass up.

Link

There even a Rap music game coming out. Def Jam RapStar seems to bring Hip-Hop to the game system. I guess this will be a rated M game.

Link

Another DJ game is also out there. Scratch: Ultimate DJ looks to compete with DJ Hero. I have to see how word of mouth is about this game.

Link

Saw the video game is coming. After Saw the ride I see this going well with the fans.

Link

One of my favorite games is coming back. Aliens Vs Predator is bring the classic back. With new movies being made for Predator and Aliens and this game maybe a dark ride is in the works!! Shocked

Link

I just see there a lot of money to spend this holiday. Maybe this could be a great Christmas wishlist  to make. Wazomike I like your Xbox avator. I wish Playstation could do this. I have to go to Home to see my avator. I only have a eight ball as my Playstation tag id. I wish Sony could get into the game and do these custom made avator.
