Who remembers that S&S coaster concept called the Eagle Coaster that you thought no park wouold build?

Well, Skara Sommarland in Sweden is actually building one for 2009. The coaster will be called Tranan, and it will be over 65ft tall, 1640ft long, and have a top speed of near 25mph.

This is definitely going to be a unique ride for the whole family, and I think that's exactly what they wanted. _________________ -Patrick

Hmmm, neat concept! I like it! I probably wouldn't wait in line for more than an hour for it though lol. I like the way it looks and seems like a good family ride... something that Dollywood would have. _________________ |

The ride has an interesting design, but if the video is a true representation of the ride, then it will have a fairly low ride capacity. I can't see any major US parks putting this thing in. That said, I would love to take a ride on that thing. _________________ |

Wow... that does look more intense than the animation. After watching that video I like the concept more. Now the next thought in mind is how durable is it? Is it going to crack under pressure like X after it was running for awhile? _________________ |

That looks fun and I would ride.... I don't think I'd wait 90 min in line for it lol.
From the video, it sounds real noisy. I hope that gets fixed. For the first model, I think the layout is neat. Hopefully the next one will be a longer. _________________ |
