My impression of this park may be a bit skewed since it followed two amazing days at Holiday World. But it is probably still at least fairly accurate... anywho, I drove to Louisville Sunday morning to pick up my Six Flags season pass at the little park. The park opened at 11 am and I was the only person who ran to a ride, so I was easily the first to Chang, which is known as the best stand up coaster out there. I was able to get 3 rides on it by myself before anyone else showed up.

It is a very smooth coaster with some decent positive G forces, but the mid course bit too hard, to the point where the train is only crawling along when it hits the final brake run. If there was no trim on this coaster, it could be awesome, but they kill it at the mid course so everything after is just painfully slow and boring.

After that mini-marathon I walked over to T2, the typical Vekoma slc (standard looping coaster). It is uncomfortably rough, especially for us broad shouldered folks. But that wasn't even close to the most unnerving thing that happened on this ride. As 2 ride ops were checking our harnesses the operator at the console decided it'd be a good idea to lower the floor under the inverted train. This caused one of the ride ops to fall over right in front of me. The console op quickly corrected his mistake, and raised the floor again. After the fallen op got upright again she went ballistic and flipped out on the console op. So we sat there in the uncomfortable train for about 10 minutes while some white collar guy came and relieved the console op. It was interesting to see. The ride itself was more smooth than the average Vekoma tends to be, and that double in line twist still gets me every time.

After 2 laps on T2, I ventured over towards Thunder Run, their wooden coaster. It was all right, but nothing special. A few decent moments of airtime, and an enjoyable first turn make it above average, but still nothing great.

Throughout the day I rode all of the coasters there more than enough times. I took of at about 4 pm to head towards Kings Island to get in a few night rides on Diamondback and The Beast.

I know exactly what you're talking about with the uncomfortable restraints on SLCs. Aside from that T2 is just strange and poorly operated. I found it peculiar that there was just a train with no seats on the transfer track. I truly loathe this park.

That's probably the most positive TR of SFKK that've heard within the past few years, literally lol. How were the crowds?

^Good to hear your trip wasn't toooo bad.  SFKK is lacking alot... BTW- Chang is a good ride, however it's not even close to Riddler's Revenge in SFMM.  Wink

BTW, again- T2 is easily the worst SLC I've EVER been on!
