The first leg of the Season Pass Coaster Safari was King's Island.  There was a little bit of rain in the air, but that didn't stop an amazing day.

I have a couple of extra pictures and one video of the Racer on my Flickr page.  I may post more pictures later, but it is about 2am and I got coasters to ride in the morning.  Here is the link if you want to see what I have uploaded tonight.

Day 2

Not many pictures today,  we left Ohio early and headed for Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.  It is a pretty small park, we were able to do everything we wanted to do there is about 3 hours.  We loaded up and headed for Santa Claus, IN.  Holiwood Nights started at 7pm and ran until 10:30.  We met up with e_tapley before stating our ERT on their coasters.  I'm sure Doug will cover the coasters in a podcast, but let me say,  they are all mind blowing (especially in the dark).  Day 3 will start Saturday morning at 8:15, when we will have breakfast and have ERT in Holiday World's water park.  I will try to get more pictures tomorrow.

Shawn, we missed you today.
More tomorrow if I have the energy.

Day 3 was amazing.  Holiday World has an massive water park, where we had 2 hours of ERT.  Next weeks podcast will have a good review of the trip, so I will post a few more picture.
I want to thank Doug, Urso, Robert, Chris, Tapley, Shawn, and everyone who made this trip so great.

What a fantastic trip! Thanks to all of you for making this a really memorable trip.

For me, it was 5 theme parks and 2 world's fair sites in 5 days in 4 different states:

- 1893 World's Columbian Exposition site
- 1933-'34 Century of Progress Exposition site
- Six Flags Great America
- Cedar Point
- Kings Island
- Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom
- Holiday World

Earlier this month, we took a weekend trip and visited the Expo '74 site in Spokane and Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, Idaho.

I'll be posting some photos soon, as well. Unfortunately, my camera was dying toward the end, so I didn't get as many toward the end of the trip.

I'm sorry I couldn't join you guys for the second podcast from Holiday World. As I type this, I'm at the Evansville Regional Airport and feeling a lot better.

well, it looks (and sounds like, since i got to talk to a couple of you!! lol) like you guys had an awesome time. I'll have to make it to the next one.  Doug made it home fine and almost immediately crashed on the couch, but not before showing me some of the video that he had taken.

I love to see the pics, so keep 'em coming!

It was cool finally meeting Doug and talkin to Shannon!..... and her voicemail Embarassed Wylder and his wife are the best couple ever lol and are great to hang out with. Chris & family, Urso, and Robert, all fantastic and a pleasure to meet. Hopefully we can do it again next year!
