Great Episode! BTW Congrats on the sponsor! lol
Journey to the Center of the Earth did great at our theater! On the other hand, Meet Dave was horrible! During our matinee we only had 3 people and after that 5 people.
The Carowinds incident was ridiculous. I read that the security wasn't doing nothing about it so one of the guest knocked the guy out and afterward the sheriff department arrived to take him.
I feel so bad for Six Flags. For a while it did seem like they were trying to make a change but all of the unfortunate accidents are bringing them down dramatically. I would hate to see them sell more of their parks but for them to actually pull themselves out of this hole, they would need to sell a few of them. I think the first one that needs to go would be Kentucky Kingdom because that one seems to be getting worse every year. I think it would be good to keep one park open in each region and focus on making that one better. For example, keep SFMM, SFOT, SFGAdventure, SFGAmerica, SFOG, and the near by water parks. Me being an outsider, having no clue at how this works, would try to fix the problem like that.
I don't think InBev will keep the parks either and pretty sad to see Busch sell the parks off. Busch owns a lot of parks (Sea World, Busch Gardens, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, and so on) and it would be good if Disney bought them, but I really don't see that. In Orlando the parks would be so scattered around and Disney wouldn't "geographically" have control of what guest do like they do at Disney World where everything is in their "world" that they've created... if that makes sense lol. I think it would be good for Herschend to buy the parks. It would be a tremendous step forward for them and I think they could withhold the standards of the Busch Parks. Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country are great parks that IMO follow the standards of parks like Sea World, Busch Gardens, and Aquatica. Silver Dollar City isn't as good as it could be so if they were to take Busch parks I would need to see a great improvement to SDC.
