Expo 2005 United States Pavilion ThemeAnother great interview! Thanks, guys!Perhaps not surprisingly, I mostly know Mr. Kneupper's work from the U.S. Pavilion at Expo 2005 in Aichi, Japan. I remember walking in and (despite the prominent photo of George W. Bush on the wall) feeling a mixture of pride and comfort hearing the theme song. It sounded so American and so accessible. Such a great interview! I loved all of the technical sound stuff that was discussed. My limited background in sound really helped understand all of it! Unfortunately I haven't been on any of the rides that David worked on. Hopefully that will change in the near future. |
