LOL, that she is. She is one of the most genuine and real people I have ever met in my entire life and I hope that came across in the conversation.

Season Pass Gone WildWOW, this was a HOT episode. My ipod was flogging up. Oh, this was great, I have to give great praise to Shannon. She had me tripping out with Jodi. I think Shannon totally awesome on the mic. She prefect host to the Season Pass, I would like to hear more of her interviewing people.
But come on, Bush Garden’s has some good coasters, they are not all that bad. Das Festhaus in Germany area, is the best place for some beer over there too.
Anyway, by far this was a special episode to hear. I love this women presecptive of roller coaster and rides. It’s cool to see more side and views points I a big fan of those shows.
Everybody, give Shannon Barnes a big applause. She totally rock this episode with Jodi.
Incredible job Mrs. Barnes I look forward to more shows with you on the mic

I saw Jodi's 'Vote X' signs at the park on Tues. Personally I didn't think much of Six Flag's Tournament of Thrills - Jodi changed my mind. She's right, that ride deserves recognition.
I'll be sure to say hello if I catch a glimpse of that unique tattoo, but maybe I'll wait until Jodi is done with her ride. I wouldn't want to get between a woman and her man of steel.
(Doug and Brent, should we men feel inadequate? We can't go all day like X2. Then again, we're more reliable than Kingda Ka and last longer than 30 seconds. And when's the last time Ghost Rider mowed the lawn or took out the trash?)
The occasional episode aimed at adults only really spices up the show.

Wow, thanks, it was a pleasure to do. It's something Doug and I have been talking about doing for a while now.

LOL, never feel inadequate!!! Although, never diminish the importance of a quickie either.

Great show Shannon and Jodi and you too Doug and Brent.
Is the Season Pass After Dark going to be on the regular feed or will it be on Cinemax after midnight?
Being Testosterone centric, I have never thought about coasters in that way, but it is interesting to hear them described like that. I will have my wife listen to this episode and hear her feelings on the matter.
Once again, Shannon, you did a great job. You sound like you already do your own weekly podcast. I look forward to hearing more.

I'm not sure if he "publicized" it or not, but he does have the "raw" wholly unedited version available if people wanted to hear it. I haven't heard the final cut of the show yet, as in what he edited out, but I know there was some conversation that CERTAINLY was not able to make it onto the final cut. E-mail him and ask him to send it to you if you want to hear the true uncut conversation. Keep in mind, however, that it is the complete uncut 2 hour recording and there are a couple of dropped calls from brent, jodi and I talking about nonsense trying to fill the time while doug is communicating with brent and, of course, even stronger PG13 material. What I'm trying to say is that it isn't the production quality that you typically receive from Doug, this is the stuff he has to deal with before he cleans the shows up and makes them "TV" ready. It's like a 2 hour long outtake.
Thanks again for the kind words, LOL, I can talk forever and ever and ever, which is why I am on the show rarely! LOL It typically takes Doug an extra day to put out a show that I am involved in!!!

There are other women out here...Hey Shannon
There are other women out here. I listen to the podcast every week. Sadly I don't get on the message boards very often. I am still working on balancing being all those things you mentioned in the podcast (wife/mom/ working, ect) and still have time to do other stuff not on the to do list. Just wanted to let you know I am out here.
I think Doug mentioned that you and he were going to try and come to Food & Wine next year at Epcot. The Festival starts every year on or on the weekend of my birthday so I am extending an invite to you both (and the boys if they come along for the trip, my daughter will be there) to join in our celebratio if you are coming around the end of September or if you want some company any of the other weekends of the festival.

Thanks Kerri, we are planning on going out there in October, depending on when the mother-in-law can safely take the time off of work. Doug and I LOVE meeting people when we go on the road to these places so I'll be sure to get the information out when we get our plans more solidified. If it all goes to plan it is going to be a bevy of family going, with both Doug's parents and my parents, brother, sister and our 2 kids, so if you don't mind the entourage! LOL I'm sure Mr. and Mrs. Wylder will be joining us at some point during the trip (at least they better be!!) too.
And, if all goes to plan as well, I will probably/hopefully be hugely fat and pregnant, so I will definitely be up for some company! Doug and I are so looking forward to that trip to share it with our families because we had such a good time there ourselves---especially Epcot!!

Food & Wine while pregnant is AWESOME!!! Last year all my friends kept asking if we were still going. Even being 9 months pregnant could not keep me away from all that yummy food.
Let us know.

Can I interrupt the girl talk for just a moment? Coasters and pregnant don't mix! Now Food and Wine... er, Food and More Food, that sounds about right. Coming from a guy's perspective anyway.
I had a chance to ride Superman Ride of Steel at Six Flags Great Adventure on Saturday. This is the coaster Jodi said beats Tatsu. What? Personal opinions and all, but I don't get it. SROS has a baby-sized pretzel loop then lazily swings and sweeps around before finally rolling through a second inversion. It felt like a kiddie coaster. X-2 Jodi, really? And you needed a few pops in the Festhaus to get much out of mellow old Griffon, a 200 ft plus dive coaster? I don't see your point but I still think you're cool.

^Yeah PAL. I have to get on your side with this one. I love Jodi, I think she is amazing and is 100% devoted to her passion intense rides, however I have some very different opinions on these particular coasters as well. I find Tatsu to be easily one of the greatest rides and even though I have not been on Griffon, I have been on Sheikra and again I believe it's a phenomenal experience. But it's like she said at the end of the podcast- Whatever Makes You Happy!
I find happiness in B&M.

Thanks for the kind words! I am working on getting this book in agent's hands this year.
See you in X2's queue line soon!
