Having a iphone I can tell you that most of the app’s I used at the theme parks have not been up to par. I have used those wait time app and a coastermate app. Both were not affected, with the wait time being off quite a bit. The coastermate app was ok until it crashes just adding a new park with rides.
But this Thrill seeker app has great potential. Also, I glad this app exists for Alton Towers. Everything helps in getting more information about the parks. I be sure to add this once I plan my Alton Towers trip, but maybe early for Disney to give it a shot.
Good podcast about tech in the park. It’s one area that is growing and maybe become the new wave of theme park tools. Remember Disneyland Nintendo DS game for Pirates where it will help you find treasure at the parks. Or those Plush Mickey’s that would interact with certain areas of the park. How about Kim Possible adventure at Epcot? Using a cell phone to interact with attractions at the theme park. Yeah tech is playing a big way into the theme park. Fast pass thought your cell phone or even schedule your entire day at the park where your phone rings to tell you where to go next at a certain time. This is a subject that really needs to be look at closely in the future. Hope to hear more about. Good Show.
Don’t forget everybody.

Whatever happened to that interactive Mickey??
I've heard nothing but praise for the Kim Possible Epcot ...er... thing! Has anybody else on the forum tried it out?

Good Podcast.
I don't have an iPhone, but I think the possibility of interactive maps is very exciting. I hope there is more of a push for that sort of thing over here, in the colonies.
As for the, Kim Possible Epcot ...er... thing, I was able to save both Norway and Germany last weekend. I have to say, I have never seen an episode of Kim Possible, but have enjoyed all 4 adventures I have taken. After you get your fast pass (for lack of a better term) for KP, you pick up your Kimmunicator. Once you have your phone, you get a quick tutorial (on the phone) on how everything works. Now you are ready to save the world. You get assignment, after assignment in the country you are saving. After completing enough assignments, you have the big ending.
Each of your assignments are short and pretty easy, some involve going to a spot in a county and reading a sign; while others have you interacting with cast members.
It is a great way to spend a half hour, if you are in the World Showcase and are looking for something to do, this is great for all age groups. I highly recommend it.

According to Jim Hill that interactive Mickey was to expensive and the heat didn't make it ideal for a plush doll. Here a link to the podcast that explains all those interactive stuff at the park. Pretty interesting.
