HHN 2008

Friday night I got to experience this years version of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida.
I did not go last year, so I was looking for some big changes, I was not let down.
With 8 houses, 6 scare zones and 3 major shows, it was by far the biggest event I have seen there.  They also had most of their big rides open, but usually just do halloween things at HHN.
The Bill and Ted show was funnier and louder than I have ever seen.  All the houses were heavily themed and well staffed.

I have a few pictures of the event in my Flickr page, but pictures don't do the event justice.

Good to hear that it's better this year. Seems like this year is a hit so far. I heard waiting time for the haunts have decreased a little, which is always a plus. Is there anything this year that could be improved next year?

The lines on Friday night were much shorter than in years past.
I was able to do all 8 houses, 5 of them twice.  I was able to see all the shows, Bill and Ted twice.
The crowds were smaller, but it was early in the season and they had a pass holder event that allowed passholders to get in at 5pm. We were held in a holding area where you could do 2 of the haunted houses and a scare zone.  Then they let us into the rest of the park a half an hour early.
As far as what they could do better next year.  I'm not sure, they have made so many improvements, from air conditioned queue lines for some of the housed to very heavily themed scare zones, I was happy with what they had done.

I hope they continue to create as many houses, because that helps to spread out the people better around the park.

Wylder, looks great... HHN sounds almost too good to be true.
