Holiday World 2009 Attraction AnnouncementFor those who haven't heard, Holiday World announced they're 2009 attraction....
The World's Tallest Water Ride. Did Knott's previously hold the record for the tallest water ride?
Here's the website: http://www.holidayworld.com/new2009.html
It has a one of a kind lift... looks neat to me. I'm a themeing junky so Im pretty disappointed in the lack of themeing. I'm not too surprised about that because there's not much themeing in Holiday World anyway.
I think the ride will do good in the park and I'm sure the line will be extremely long on a busy day. Plus it'll be in the back of the park by it's self... unless there's some stores or somewhere to eat back there.

Wow, that looks a little freaky for a spash down ride. I'm not a great fan of heights, so being in a 10 passenger boat on an open elevator might keep me off that thing.
But it does look amazing.

This does look like a pretty cool ride. I have to agree with e_tapely about the themeing part. I would like to see a better attempt at the themeing, but maybe the actual ride will look better than the concept art.
I also agree with Wylder. The elevator part would make me a little nervous, but it would be quicker than a traditional lift for these types of rides...
I would probably be more excited about his ride if it was on the West coast and I actually had a chance to ride in the next couple of seasons.

Knott's Berry Farm someone said they might be taking it out, and Holiday World is putting a more technical one in. Good luck Holidayworld with this ride. This ride is not going to get me to go to that park.

I know they say that their "lift" is a first. But I know that Journey to Atlantis has this feature but the only difference is that Pilgrim's Plunge's lift is in the open where Journey's is in a building.
I am looking forward to this ride though. It looks very impressive and looks like a must ride too.

Which Journey to Atlantis is this?
The ride at Sea World Orlando doesn't have an elevator lift. It combines two different ride systems, but has only standard lifts.
