King's Island Halloween Haunt 10th - 12th

What's up everyone?

I just got back a few hours ago from an okay trip to King's Island. It's a little late on my end (3:06 am) so tomorrow if I have time I'll post back to let yall know how the trip went.

BTW since I've been gone the boards have been pretty busy! lol I definitely like seeing that!

Back for the TR,

I think this year KI did a great job on the haunts! It was me and 6 other friends and they just wanted to enjoy the park, so I didn't do the coaster enthusiast "we should do this and that" stuff... that tends to get on peoples nerves lol. We went on a Saturday around 3:30 and the lines were sooo long. I've never waited for nearly and hour and a half for Invertigo and probably won't ever do it again lol. With that said, we only rode Delirium and Invertigo until 6ish. Around 6:30 fog machines were starting and the park began to transform. We walked around til 7 and got in line for the new haunt this year Urgent Scare. We wait for about an hour and a half, but I think it was well worth it. The scenery was great, the actors were definitely on their jobs, and the story was pretty easy to follow. We into the hospital of infected staff and patients, found our way out and vaccinated only to be warned were still not safe, and then all the escaped infected are chasing us around outside lol. After that 4 people went off to ride The Beast at night while me and 2 others went to get something to eat. We all met up again then went to The Crypt, which was fun as always, then off to The Worksite. A neat scare zone, but it didn't have enough actors in it. After that, we only had 30 mins until closing at 1am so we went back to Tombstone Terror-TORY. Not as good as Urgent Scare, but still worth the time to try. You get on the train at the station beside The Crypt, the conductor tells the story of a guy gone mad, then the train stops out in the middle of the ride, we must find our way back, but on the way back we pass the tons of crates that "holds" the mad man's victims. By the time we got out of that one, the park was closing and that was the end of our day.

Pros: Overall very good haunts and rides

Cons: Lines are too long and there could've been more scares in the walk-ways.
