This topic is for the new comers on the forums.

Somewhere for you to come on and tell a little bit about yourself or just say hello. How did you hear about the podcast or forums? Something so we can know each other a little better.

For those who don't know of me, I'm Ellyot (E-Tap) and I live in Lebanon, TN (small town a step outside of the Nashville city limits). I'm in college majoring in mechanical engineering to eventually work for Disney as an Imagineer. Home park is Dollywood and proud of it! lol I didn't really hear about the podcast, I just happen to find it on itunes and never stopped since then.
Wylder

My name is Darrell (not Wylder), I live in Riverview, FL.  I am 36 and have been a coaster nut for about 26 years.  I used to live in Toledo, Oh, which is why I mostly go to Ohio and Florida parks.
I stumbled across the podcast while looking for Disney and rollercoaster podcasts.  I have been listening for about 6 months and have enjoyed it greatly.
I guess that me in a nut shell.
dougscoastergirl

Hi There,

My Name is Shannon,  aka "dougscoastergirl". Uhhh, I heard about the podcast when Doug told me he wanted to do one. I listen to the show while Doug's editing it.....LOL, just kidding, I do actually listen to the show on itunes. It started out as this little show that he wanted to do and then when Brent came on board it exploded into what it is now, which I think is an awesome opportunity for the coaster-nuts (loving term) to hear the insider info. Doug has always been a huge, HUGE, coaster guy, ever since I've known him. When we were in high school he was always drawing out ideas for coasters. He even drew one out that was very similar to X at Magic Mountain, or I guess it's called X2 now......anyhow, he drew that out several years before that ride came out, which I find pretty impressive.

Anyhow, Doug and I have been together for 12, going on 13 years now, we started going out in high school and have been married for 7. We have two great little boys and we live in the lovely and exciting Sacramento, California. LOL

I guess technically our home park is Discovery Kingdom but Disneyland is definitely our home......that's where we started going out and that's where we had our honeymoon and we have basically been there twice a year since!  Something magical about paying 3 dollars for a bottle of coke.
screaminman11

Well I heard about this show through CoasterRadio, since I saw on their BLOG that Mike was on the newest show.  And I really do love this show just as much. It is nice for me to listen to this show in its current state without coming into it later after it may already be over.  That way, if there were ever any kind of contests, then I may enter. Smile
Rollerman87

Howdy. My name's William (but am known all over forums and youtube as Rollerman87). I've loved coaster for a long time, and I think I figured out that I love them so much because of all the little pieces behind them. They are very interesting to learn about Very Happy

Like E-Tap, I'm currently at college studying to get into my Mechanical Engineering major. I want to design coasters, or at least something within the amusement park industry.

My home park most definitely is Knott's Berry Far, Heck, it's gotta be, for I work there Very Happy I am a Ride Operator for Fiesta Village, Montezooma's Revenge, and Pony Express. Everyone cross their fingers with me that I get Calicao Mine Ride and/or trainer Very Happy But yep, all this means to a coaster nut is that I get to do what they have always wanted to do, I hit the button that sends the ride into its cycle Razz

So yep. Oh, and I like to talk about coasters and stuff Very Happy Yep.
