8 mins early??? I would say just to make things far, I would listen to the podcast sooner, rather then later. I'm sure you'll know what I mean once you listen. _________________ Follow me on Twitter!Click to view my Twitter

In the podcast, I said that the Six Flags Over Georgia's Mindbender opened in 1980. I looked it up and I was two years off. It opened in 1978.
Also, even though we were concerned about it during the recording, I rather like the roller coaster, wind, and bird sounds in the background.
I guess I'm ineligible to win the prizes since I was there. |

Well I guess since you said it and if Doug wants to chime in about if it's over or not, I won the contest for the second question! _________________ Follow me on Twitter!Click to view my Twitter

Another great podcast. I was lucky enough to visit Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in July, and I went with very low expectations. What a pleasant surprise! The park sparkled, the rides were great, the animal exhibits plentiful and high quality, and most of all, the employees were superb, having fun and doing a great job. Best operations I've encountered in the past year, and that's counting Disney at both ends of the country.
More Len Testa, and more Rob Alvey and family. Guy has to know more about the world's theme parks than just about anyone. Just think of the possiblities. You could do a show focused on theme park road trip planning. How not to lose your shirt, how to get the most out of a short time at a park, how to have a good time when things don't go quite as planned.
Woo hoo! Yeah, great episode - high five! (I wonder if the SFDK ride ops get sore palms?)
(Hey, what's the deal with V2? Was it originally built with two vertical spikes? It's fantastic the way it is, with that angled twist. Every seat gives a different ride experience. It's my new favorite shuttle coasters by far)
One more thing. Can you get a Six Flags Great Adventure expert on the show in the next couple of weeks? I could really use some trip planning help. For that matter, how about someone who knows Cedar Point up and down, and can share some tips on when to go to avoid awful lines? |

that would be a cool idea. A trip planing show that shows how to hit as many parks possible, in a short amount of time, and how to get alot done. also some some saving tips would be cool _________________ Follow me on Twitter!Click to view my Twitter

^A trip planning episode would be great! I'm sure we can work a special panel together for that episode. Maybe someone can start a thread of tips and questions on the forums and we can use it as a base for the show. Good suggestion! _________________ Doug Barnes

| Road warrior Chance would be a natural for a trip planning discussion. Just don't ask him about lodging. After a day riding coasters most of us need something more than crashing in a car. |

Alright, trip talk. This was entertaining show. A lot of talk about getting into the theme park industry and trip event planning with Theme Park Review. But I have to disagree with Six Flag’s Discovery Kingdom being the only place to swim with the dolphins. In Sea World Orlando, the Discovery Cove park has the swimming and other animals at the park. This park was one of the main reasons that Disney went into the Nighttime Kingdom project at least that how Jim Hill puts it.
Also, thank you Shannon. Your questions about Theme Park Review trips was exactly the question I wanted to ask. I always wanted to know more about there trip event’s and how they work and you nailed it. I got a lot from that and what Robb explains help me understand more about the events’ and trips and the value you get from them. Great show and cool little clue sound if that was that about at the end there.
Thanks and keep spreading the messages about the World’s Fair too. It need’s more hype I think.
