On today’s episode we have 2 former Disney Imagineers in the discussion room – Ryan Harmon (Creative Director and Principal of Zeitgeist) returns to the Season Pass Discussion Room & a very Special appearance from Barry Braverman (Creative Consultant to Cultural & Design Associations and Former Executive Producer of Walt Disney Imagineering). We have a great and deep conversation on the development of EPCOT as well the creation of Disney’s California Adventure. Doug also goes “Ape Wild” and we bring back a classic “Pass Holder’s Opinion.”

Haha, as a reply, I only work at Space Mountain right now. Since I'm seasonal I can't really change positions (from what I know). Once I get out of college and start working full time for the mouse (hopefully) I'll try to get more stuff under my belt. Hopefully an Imagineering internship if I can ever get one, haha.
Edit: listening to this episode as I write, and man, I would love to have this guy's job as an Imagineer. Can't believe how he got tossed in there in the first place, but what he did with research/creative is something I personally love. I enjoy researching things hardcore. Good stuff so far. And very jealous, haha.
Arcade of the future with TRON?! oh man...-cries a little- |

Great episode! It was truely good to hear another Imagineer. After listening to this episode, I really have more of an understanding for Epcot. I didn't really care for the pavilions, partially because there were no thrill rides involved and I didn't know the meaning behind them. I definitely had Epcot as the last thing on my to do list for Disney but now I want to go there and see what it's about... and not only because Test Track and Mission Space are there lol.
Lee5... there's jealousy right here too lol. I want to be an Imagineer so bad.
BTW I really didn't realize that Six Flags Season Passes are different prices... That really makes no sense to me <= and that's how I'm really lookin right now lol. I think I might go out and get one from SFKK or SFOG and by a season pass for a low price lol. |
