Show after show I always hear you guys thanking all your listeners for...well...listening. Time for the listeners to thank you.

First off, I'm at the young age of 16. I mention this because I dont find many 16 year olds that are very interested in theme/thrill parks as much as I am.  I often find myself asking my freinds if they are excited about the new Toy Story Mania attraction going up or the harry pottor land going up in IOA, and response I get is one of confusion. My point is that I really dig a podcast that goes into that kind of stuff with great detail but in a casual way. This is a formal Thank you

Now with that said and done, just congrats for the Season Pass Podcast, I've been listening for awhile now and seen the new site go up and see the podcast grow the past few months. Congrats and I hope it keeps growing

Oh! Good topic! I would also like to thank yall! This is a great podcast and I look forward to it every week! So thanks for all your hard work, because I know you don't have to do this. Also thanks for the forums! Its cool interacting with yall and being able to talk about the shows. So thanks thanks and more thanks lol.

CoasterKid92,
I was definitely like you when I was younger lol. I would follow things going on in the amusement industry and really want to talk to someone about it... when I would mention it to my friends I would get looks like "what are you talking about dork?" lol. I didn't have Discussion Boards or Podcast during that time so I only got info from certain sites and the Amusement Today Magazine. So I completely understand what your talking about lol. Nice to know I wasn't the only kid like that lol

LOL, you should have seen Doug when he was 16. He was the biggest roller coaster geek on the planet, and, if you haven't noticed by now, he's quite detail and stats oriented. I remember when we were in high school and him talking about the newest rides coming out and what their heights, speeds, lengths were, what kind of wheels it was going to have, all that stuff and having to be excited with him so that he could have someone to share it with!! I remember watching him render drawings of roller coasters and tracks and trains, etc. He had books and books of these ideas. He even tried to build a roller coaster in my back yard out of MDF and 2 x 4s. The summer he went to Ohio for 9 days just to go to the parks out there....How we drove down to LA after work on a Friday to go to Magic Mountain and left for home on a Sunday afternoon to make it home in time for Monday......Tapes and tapes of coaster shows, going to opening days of major attractions......

So, just so you know, he was not much different than you all seem to be. He is still geeking out the newest ride technologies 12 years later, pulling me into the room to tell me about the newest rides that are going into parks, recording every coaster show that comes out. Every Memorial Day weekend we scour the travel channels to find the newest coaster buzz shows. And, by the time those come out, he already knows everything that they are going to talk about.  LOL, which reminds me, I better go check the guide right now....

Yeah, go check that Tivo women....  (A JOKE... That's a joke people).  Crazy how we always have to be PC.  By the way - that was a real long time ago and ... .... ... I was bored!  As for the coaster in the back yard, I only finished the first drop, so ended up looking like 4ft tall trailer trash slide. Embarassed  Hey anyone who starts a forum bored... forget to tell your wife about it.  Confused j/k
